How do I annotate images with text, arrows, etc.?
There are two ways to annotate images:
- Right Click on the image you want to annotate and navigate to the Annotation submenu. Choose the tool you wish to use. Then position the cursor where you want the Annotation and click and drag.
- Place the cursor over the Line icon in the Image View toolbar. Click and hold down the left mouse button to reveal all of the available annotation tools. How do I compare images from different series or different studies side-by-side?
AVT provides the ability to view disparate images side-by-side in Compare View. To compare images, you simply send any number of series or individual images to Compare View. If you wish to send entire series to Compare View, make sure you are in Series mode (Series icon in Image View toolbar). If you wish to send individual images, use Instance mode.
Hold down the Ctrl (control) key and use the left mouse button to select the series or images you want to compare. Once all the series have been selected, you can either right click with the mouse and select Send to CompareView or simply press the Ctrl (control key) and M keys on your keyboard. This will send all the series you have selected to a new Tab located along the top of the screen labeled Compare. Click on this Compare tab to view the series you have selected.
You don't have to send all the images to Compare View at once. You can go between different series or studies, finding images and sending each one to Compare View.
- [Note: In the Compare tab you must select enough windows using the Layout icon located in the Image View toolbar. For example, if you are comparing three series, you must have at least three viewable windows.]
How do I simultaneously adjust the Window and Leveling of two different series?
Hold down the Ctrl (control) key while using the left mouse button to select the series you want to W/L together. Alternatively, if you want to W/L all of the series shown, you can choose Sync All from the Image View toolbar. Window and Level as you would normally. [Note: The second image will not adjust to the image W/L until you release the mouse button.]
